Good experiences start with a download…
…and for that to happen, good visual storytelling is essential.
I have always enjoyed telling stories, and doing so through images with the aim of convincing an experienced audience that knows what they want in terms of product, and is willing to invest their money in safe entertainment but with the risk of loss, is not an easy task. However, when you do it with passion and in partnership with a well-integrated time between you and the client, things happen and the results are positive.
Here, I took on the creative challenge of communicating all the advantages of literally betting on the Northstar Bets brand as a casino games and sports betting platform, picking up a project that had been underway and unsuccessfully for almost a year halfway through, and finally, in a few days, the result was released.
In sports, the necessary message is clear, objective and at the same time visually appealing, with the aim of conveying in a few static cards all the dynamics and excitement of Canadians’ favorite sport. I tried to work with lights and a lot of movement without losing focus on the advantages and differences of the brand in this segment.
In a live casino, the audience is more “specialized” and has more knowledge about the product, so there’s no point in trying to convince them with the basics, they already know what they’re going to find. The idea here is to present Northstar Bets as a modern and, above all, safe brand, a brand that players can trust.
This message can be conveyed through the brand’s positioning in terms of branding, and that’s what we did, but for marketing we need something more. Elegant dealers, with a confident and important look here. In the case of roulette, the message is a little lighter and more fun, while in card games the dealer has a confident but challenging look, typical of these games.
The color palette is also very important. While in sports they prevail as brand colors in the live casino, the colors are guided by the type of game, in roulette we see the brightness of the dealer and the roulette wheel that is exploding in the foreground while in table games, they present the characteristic green tone of gaming tables and here, I preferred to have the dealer throwing the cards into the air so that the confident look and attractions of the dealer do not seem threatening.
