Erick Le Menotti|Senior Designer

The beginning

I started my career as a designer in 2002 but before that I was already working on graphic projects mainly for events and promotional marketing. I did a graduation in Advertising in 1996 in Brazil, São Paulo – Capital. At that time we still didn’t have the internet and I didn’t even have a computer so all my design experience started on the drawing board, with handmade storyboards. It was easy for me to do that because from my youth I already had a very close relationship with design and arts in general through books and a great interest in counter-culture and Pop Art movements and this paved my way to graphic design and the advertising.

I had my first computer in 1998 and from then on, everything I did by hand started to be done using graphic softwares. Parallel to print publishing design, I also suggested ideas for campaigns and at that time I was also concerned with content and advertising writing.

In 2002 I had access to the internet for the first time and at this point I consider the official beginning of my career as a digital designer. I took some web design courses and started working with creation and motion design through Macromedia Flash in small projects.

The first time we never forget

In 2004 I had my first experience in an advertising agency working with big brands. It was “Alfaiataria de Marketing” which was an extension of Grey Brasil. There I worked as a freelancer for a short period and only with graphic design projects for Philip Morris and BMW.

In 2005, I was called to work at Rapp Collins do Brasil, serving the Sky TV and Natura brands in B2C digital marketing projects and also the Grupo Votorantim for a large B2B institutional project. Following at Rapp Collins Brasil until 2007, working with other large digital marketing clients such as Itaucard and Folha de São Paulo, with a quick moment as a freelancer at É Tutoria de Comunicação to compete for the digital account of the Levi’s and Dockers brands.

In 2008 I worked for 3 months as a freelancer for a small digital marketing agency called Shake Comunicação. There I developed digital projects for B2B and B2C clients and I can consider the World of Luxury client as a highlight, representative in Brazil of famous designer brands such as Alain Mikli, Philipe Starck and Tag Hauer.

The moment of professional maturity

Still in 2008 I was called to work at CDN Comunicação. There, I started participating in B2C digital campaigns for McDonald’s and B2B projects for Wal-Mart and Sebrae-SP. At CDN Comunicação, I had the opportunity to mature professionally and build a solid career until 2016, acquiring enormous experience in public relations.

During this period I became a Creative Team Manager and was responsible for numerous projects for brands such as L’Oreal Vichy and Innéov, Sony, Brastemp, Rafale International, Thyssenkrupp, Sabesp, Agência Nacional de Águas do Governo Federal, Tom Jobim Airport Rio Galeão, Pfizer , Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Ducati Brasil and Odebrecht Holding.

In this period I decided to do a second graduation, this time in Marketing Management.

Leaving Brazil

Throughout 2016 after leaving CDN Comunicação I realized that it was time to leave Brazil and seek new opportunities abroad and this opportunity happens in early 2017 where I would work for Smart Age Solutions, a New York agency focused on B2B and B2C digital marketing for jewelry brands.

As one of the biggest references in the sector in the United States, there I had the opportunity to serve clients such as Gabriel&Co with its more than 5 thousand points of sale in the North American market alone and at the same time I had the opportunity to work with brands such as Rolex, Mikimoto and Breitling.

In 2019 I move to Europe and living in Turin, Italy I had an experience in a specific project for the fintech Oval Money and also my first contact with the gaming market on the island of Malta in the companies Twin and Logispin. In both I had the opportunity to perform B2C jobs always focusing on digital marketing.

The pandemic

In the year 2020, the Covid19 pandemic that would begin to take its victims on a large scale in northern Italy forced me to return to Brazil, so I choose the city of Campinas in São Paulo, as the place where I would spend the difficult period of the pandemic. There, I worked for 1 year for Agência Sawi where, for the most part, I worked on e-commerce projects and this was a growing demand in Brazil that year. At Sawi, in a short period of time I delivered numerous projects for brands such as Farmina Pet Food that included not only Brazil but several countries in Latin America, I also delivered projects that I was very pleased to develop for other brands such as PUC Campinas, Manitou/France, Construtora Novac, Focus Energia, Osvaldo Antiguidades, PetCamp, Cia do Móvel, Wood Planet and Spax Hair&Nails.

A short different experience

In 2021, I have my first experience as a UX Designer in a Customer Experience team for Agi bank. In the short period of 5 months I was able to collaborate in the construction of the first version of the bank of a Super APP that would cover, in addition to simplifying account opening, also the retail area in the APP, including the first version of open bank resources in addition to improvements in the Customer service.

At the same time, I developed some graphic and digital works for the North American medical technology company Medtronic.

In the same year I am called to work as a UX Designer for the gaming company Entain. At first remotely in São Paulo and with the end of the pandemic, in December 2021 I move to Spain to work in Gibraltar with the CX team in the office but I realized that UX there are not what I wanted.

Happy to “return to the game”

In September 2022 I choose to go back to work with marketing and communication which is my great passion and the opportunity arises to work in the promising Digital Beat Ltd.

Today in addition to following and being part of the incredible moment that Brazil is experiencing with the regulation of online betting and casinos through Brazilian brands in the sector, I have the opportunity to work in marketing and product for big brands international BET platforms such as 888 and Hard Rock Bet, as well as a huge range of games and suppliers, notably Playtech.

Finally, I consider this an incredible and transformative moment for my career and also in my personal life and I hope to be able to continue telling my story with great satisfaction in this current company.
